Who is this service for?

This service is suitable for clients seeking a more holistic Physiotherapy treatment approach with longer appointment times and individualised, Physiotherapist-led Clinical Pilates and Exercise-Based Rehabilitation

In particular those who:

• Are recovering from injury, illness, surgery, or periods of pain

• Have persistent or recurrent musculoskeletal conditions

• Would benefit from a careful, supported return to movement

• Prefer a small, calm, one-to-one clinical environment

Kirsty works with a wide range of presentations, including:

Musculoskeletal & Orthopaedic Conditions

  • Low back, neck and shoulder pain

  • Postural-related pain and movement issues

  • Arthritis and age-related joint conditions

  • Post-operative rehabilitation (eg total knee or hip replacement, rotator cuff repair, spinal surgery)

  • Strains, Sprains and Fractures

Antenatal and Post-Natal Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation

  • Post-caesarean recovery

  • Abdominal Wall Separation (Diastasis Recti Abdominis)

  • Pelvic girdle pain (PGP)

  • Safe and Supportive Exercise for woman during their Pregnancy and Post Natal journey.

Persistent and Complex Conditions

  • Chronic pain conditions (eg fibromyalgia)

  • Hypermobility spectrum disorders, including Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS)

  • Osteoporosis/ Osteopenia 

  • Falls rehabilitation 

  • Safe, individualised exercise for people with a history of cancer or other medical conditions

Who this service may not be suitable for

This service may not be appropriate for 

  • Fit, healthy individuals looking for group fitness-style Pilates classes

  • Young children under 12 

Important notes

Clients undergoing or recovering from cancer treatment are accepted with appropriate medical clearance. This service does not replace Specialist Oncology Physiotherapy.     

Women’s health clients requiring internal pelvic floor examination and treatment will be referred onto a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist for this input.
